    ● Composition and Structure


    Main components: Iron oxide (Fe ₂ O ∝) is used as the main raw material, combined with strontium (Sr) or barium (Ba) carbonate to form strontium ferrite (SrFe ₁₂ O ₁₉) or barium
    ferrite (BaFe ₁₂ O ₁₉). Some special-purpose products may add small amounts of metal elements such as cobalt (Co), copper (Cu), and zinc (Zn) to improve magnetic properties and
    microstructure.


    Crystal structure: It has a hexagonal crystal system structure, in which oxygen ions are densely packed and arranged, and metal ions are distributed in the gaps formed by oxygen ions.
    This structure endows ferrite permanent magnets with unique magnetic anisotropy, making them easy to magnetize and maintain magnetism in specific directions.


    ● Performance characteristics


    Magnetic performance: The remanence is generally between 0.2-0.4T, the coercivity is in the range of 120-400kA/m, and the magnetic energy product is usually 4-28kJ/m ³. The overall
    magnetic performance is lower than that of neodymium iron boron permanent magnet materials, but it has good temperature stability, with a Curie temperature of up to 450-520 ℃.


    Other characteristics: Low density, about 4.5-5.2g/cm ³, light weight; Strong chemical stability, natural corrosion resistance, and no need for complex surface protection treatment; High
    hardness and brittleness require special processes during mechanical processing; Low cost, wide range of raw material sources, and simple preparation process, with a price only 1/5-
    1/10 of neodymium iron boron permanent magnet materials.  


    ● Application areas


    Household appliances: widely used in refrigerator door seals, microwave magnetron, electric fan motors, vacuum cleaner motors, etc., taking advantage of their low cost and good corrosion
    resistance.


    Automotive industry: Used for automotive motors (such as generators, starter motors, wiper motors), odometers, sensors, and other components, widely used in traditional fuel vehicles and
    new energy vehicles.


    Speaker: It is a commonly used material for the magnetic circuit system of various audio devices such as speakers and headphones, which can meet the basic sound quality requirements and
    has high cost-effectiveness.


    Toys and crafts: widely used in children's toy motors, magnetic puzzles, magnetic crafts and other products, with low cost and safety to ensure the market competitiveness of the products.


    Other fields: It can also be used in magnetic separation equipment, magnetic therapy health products, permanent magnet suction cups, etc., to meet the magnetic needs of different scenarios.
